Amanda Haag RD/LD
I am a registered dietitian. I have always wanted to work with the neonatal population as well as pediatrics; I am very lucky to cover both areas as well as women’s health. My professional goals are to become certified in nutrition support as well as specializing in pediatrics. I enjoy the excitement of clinical work but also have an interest in the community setting. I have been inspired by so many teachers in my life and I am proud to be able to educate people about nutrition and health and hopefully affect people’s lives positively.
I was born and raised in Portland, OR, where Nurse Tara and I met as high school dance team members. I moved to Las Vegas, NV, to attend UNLV and graduated with my bachelor’s degree in Nutrition Science. I currently live in Tulsa, OK. My career currently is concentrated in maternal and child health which I am proud of. I love being a dietitian and look forward to future opportunities and endeavors as a food and nutrition expert.
